This queen size bed was made for a friend who has supplied me with some lovely live edge mesquite lumber in the past. The request was for a simple design that would showcase the natural lines and beauty of the wood. Mesquite is a beautiful material that often has natural defects in it such as checks & cracks, insect holes, and bark inclusions. No attempt was made to hide these in this piece.
