This podium was commissioned to accompany the Longhorn
Conference Table. Because much of the wood in both the podium
and conference table came from a sinker log pulled from the
Sabine River, I joined longleaf pine planks to curly pine center
panels with wavy edges to suggest the rippling flow of moving water.
