Classical shapes and high color contrast suggest Beidermier
influences from mid-19th century Europe, but this table was
designed and built to be enjoyed by a 21st century family.
Three leaves extend this table to eight feet in length to
accommodate holiday and festive celebrations. The pedestal
was made of eight tapered staves, glued up and then turned
on the lathe. These are the natural colors of the woods with
a clear finish. No stains were used.
