This rocker was commissioned by a husband for his expectant
wife to lullaby their new baby in. Now their daughter is old
enough to rock herself and the whole family continues to enjoy this
chair. I don't know why, but much of the local pecan in this area
has richer color and more variations in it than commercially available
pecan lumber.
