I made this table for the late Molly Ivins, a wise and witty observer
of the political scene and nationally syndicated columnist. Though
Art Deco inspired, the design is entirely original and one of my personal
favorites. It reminds me of a large plant in bloom. Unlike most Deco
furniture, which is highly veneered, this table is entirely solid wood.
