The long drawers in the top of this cabinet house first edition prints
by the great American naturalist and nature artist, John James Audubon,
while rare books are stored in the lower section. Original artwork seen on
the panels and drawer fronts is wood burning done by wildlife artist,
Kathleen Marie Wilson, a very gifted artist in her own right
The drawers were made to accommodate prints as large as 3’ X 4’ giving
the cabinet a big footprint. The design challenge was to create a piece
that would hold the prints without appearing too massive or bulky.
